We are currently looking for a Sales Director to work with our Energy & Industry division.

What does the role involve?

Sales strategy, planning & execution

Accountable for planning & implementation of the sales strategy for overall Energy & Industry business
To maintain familiarity with competitive environment with data/ pricing/ activities
Prepare sales forecast based on rolling forecast method, allowing necessary resources and investments to be in place when needed.
Develop and implement country-specific sales action plans for the assigned markets to achieve order, revenue and margin projections through value-based solution selling.
To achieve sales plan and grow business for the Market
To provide sales forecasts (RF) and ensure adequate stock range inventory.
Influence clients and international EPC contractor’s specifications to our range of products.

Account development

Lead the Account Development approach for the Energy & Industry segment
Explore and identify new segments and sales channels and provide strategic, clear action and growth business plans for focus markets.
In charge of relationship management to external partners (applicator) related to the project to maximize share of wallet.
Sales presentation to the professional user for potential clients.
Collection of key company information- potential (share of wallet), sales growth, importance of the key account ‘s market position, relative market share to the competitors, segments presence, trends, account’s organization and decision structure.

Leadership & people management

To carry out duty as one of member in the Executive Management Team (EMT) and currently directly report to General Manager, head of EMT
Lead and manage sales strategy formulation and execution for key sales channel partners, key accounts, major projects and tender’s submission and management.
To ensure that the sales team submit detailed weekly plan & monthly customer visit report.

Collaboration with regional and global teams

Work with the Regional & Global E&I team and Regional Marketing HUB
In charge of reporting project activity and financial status of the project on a regular based to line management.
Occasional international business travel is required due to the business collaboration with global strategic project management team, in specification work for the projects at early stage of design, engineering at level of owners, consultants and engineering firms.

What you need is:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sales or business development with at least 5 years in leadership position.
  • Languages required: Fluent English, advanced Spanish
  • Preferably strong understanding in Energy/Oil & Gas, Mining related business (E&D firms, consultant, and designer).
  • Strong team player and works well with inter-departmental and inter-company.
  • Willing to drive and develop new market segment creatively and periodically.
  • Understand the importance of opportunity closure and selling high value proposition.
  • Good aptitude, mature and ability to adapt to the fast pace of working environment.
  • Good leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate in taking care of customers’ business interests with strong customer oriented action plan in meeting their business needs.
